A Message From Our CEO

As this year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the incredible experiences we have shared within our ministry. It is not only the families we serve who are experiencing life-changing moments; we, too, are being transformed.
Through our service, the Lord is at work in our own lives, teaching us humility and allowing us to grow alongside those we support. This journey of mutual transformation is both humbling and inspiring, reinforcing the significance of our ministry and its ongoing mission.
This year, I am especially grateful to witness one of our own staff members embrace a new opportunity for growth. It is my privilege to introduce Ms. Barbara Goode as the new Program Director at HOPE Family Shelters. Her commitment and leadership will be a tremendous asset to our team and the families we serve.
Please join me in welcoming her and supporting her in this important role as we continue our mission together.

Hope Ministries has been a true blessing for me and my two teenage boys. They welcomed us with a safe and comfortable one-bedroom apartment, giving us the stability we needed to begin rebuilding our lives.
Beyond housing, they guided me through creating a professional resume, which opened doors to employment opportunities, and provided therapy sessions that helped me heal emotionally.
Their night classes taught me how to manage my finances, open a bank account, and plan for the future, while also ensuring that our basic needs like food were met.
They even went the extra mile to help my son enroll in a school program, showing that their care extends to every aspect of family life. During these classes, the kids enjoyed the wonderful wellness center, which gave them a fun and supportive environment to thrive in.
The staff at Hope Ministries truly embody compassion and dedication. The program director feels like a mother to all of us, offering guidance and love that can only come from someone ordained by God to serve in this way.
My site manager has shown genuine care for every family in the shelter, working tirelessly to support us in practical and meaningful ways. My case manager has been a constant source of wisdom and encouragement, helping me secure a job and offering advice that has shaped my journey forward.
What makes this program so powerful is that it covers every area of life — housing, employment, education, emotional support, and community — while simply asking that we make an effort to grow.
Hope Ministries has given us not just resources, but hope, and for that we are deeply grateful.

I am truly honored and grateful to accept this position as Program Director. I want to sincerely thank Hope Ministries for trusting me with God’s work.
I look forward to what this role comes with challenges, but with God, I know I can accomplish anything.
